Wings of Refuge

The beauty of the book of Ruth really starts to unfold in the second chapter with the introduction of Boaz and the role he plays.  As a type of David, his great-grandson, he begins to restore the fortunes and bring redemption to a family in Israel.  As a type of Christ, we see Boaz's great generosity to a foreigner and are reminded that we too are "foreigners" and "aliens from the commonwealth of grace," yet to us grace comes!
