Reviewing the Basics
This series of sermons is a summary of the basics of the Christian message or the gospel. It is intended to give a clear summary of the biblical message for those whose thinking on some of the fundamental concepts of the gospel is fuzzy while assuming that reviewing the basics is edifying, even for those who have a clear understanding of these matters.

The Message of Elijah
Elijah brought the word of the Lord during a time in history that is like ours in many ways. The society into which he spoke was a godless and idol-worshiping society that was heading for God’s judgment. But as long as God is calling people to repentance there is hope. This series will consider the message that Elijah brought in the light of its fulfillment in Jesus Christ.
Biblical Responses to Secular Beliefs
In Romans 12:2, we are told “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind….” This series of sermons will consider a number of biblical themes that address some of the beliefs of the secular worldview that are so influential in our society. The goal of this series is that with the Lord’s blessing it may contribute to keeping us from being “led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ” (2 Corinthians 11:3).
